about us.

  • business.

Opened in November of 2022 by married duo Vincenzo and Chelsea. The dough is a family recipe passed down from Vinnie’s grandfather. It undergoes a three day cold fermentation process. All sauces and bread are made in house. We serve two styles of pizza: a thinner hand tossed option and a pan raised, thicker Sicilian pizza. We also are building an import market inside the shop, highlighting goods from Sicily and Italy that are imported by us and can’t be found in other stores in Portland or the West Coast.

Chelsea was born and raised in the Portland area and is an enrolled member of the Colville tribe of NE Washington. She has ten years experience in the service industry. Vinnie is both first and second generation Sicilian-American. His father grew up in Villasmundo, Sicily and immigrated to America after marrying Vinnie’s mother. His mother was born in San Francisco to parents who immigrated from Carini, Sicily. Vinnie grew up visiting his dad’s family in Sicily, becoming familiar with the pallette and dishes of the region. His maternal line has provided him the background in pizza and dough knowledge. His grandfather and uncle both owned pizzerias when Vinnie was growing up in San Jose. In the early 90’s, his parents moved his family to the area.

  • vibe.

We’re proudly located in the Rose City Park neighborhood of NE Portland. We love having a local landlord, we love the community we’ve gotten to know, and we love being part of a small business in this city. We want the customer to come in and experience a meaningful time; whether it’s getting pizza for the family, checking out our Italian goods, or just coming by to window shop, we want the customer to feel like they’ve stumbled into that local hidden spot that reflects the energy and goodness of the local neighborhood joint. We aren’t a large operation at the moment and we currently do everything ourselves, so we ask customers to be patient with wait times and come hang out, eat well, and enjoy themselves.
